do you know what the highest score is? What did everyone get? Also do they look at these when you go for an interview?

great news... you passed! the highest score is 300 on any of the certification tests. Minimum passing score is a 220.

Re: LAST, AST-W

I think the highest score is 300, and failing is 220.

I honestly don't remember what I got. All I cared is that I passed.

Re: LAST, AST-W

also they do not look at these when interviewing. you ONLY need these to get your NY state certficate from Albany which certifies you to teach in NY. without your certificate however, you will not get an interview, so essentially you must pass these tests..

since I didn't have my "official" certification yet, every school I interviewed with requested a copy of my test scores.

yes, probably jsut to ensure that you would actually be granted certification and that it would just be a matter of waiting for the official certificate to arrive.

exactly! but the OP was asking if she needed them for an interview - I think she does since she is just student teaching now and will probably interview before she gets her official certificate (since NYS stinks and takes forever to print them). I put them in my portfolio and was glad I did since everyone asked to see them during my interview.

maybe I misread your response, but it sounded like you said she didn't need to bring them with her.
