Will Tupperware do the trick? also, i usually put powdered sugar on these --- should I store them without so they don't get mushy and powder sugar them the day i use them? TIA! :)

Re: preserving cookies from now til xmas??
I freeze mine in air-tight tupperware and then just take them out of the freezer the night before.

freeze them wrapped in wax paper, a freezer ziplock bag and then in an air tight tupperware. my mom would start baking in november and her cookies always tasted fresh. don't put the powdered sugar on them until you defrost them completely.

Re: preserving cookies from now til xmas??
I would actually freeze the dough and bake them a couple days before....
some baked cookies stay well in tupperware, others not so well. One key I discovered, keep each cookie type seperately. Chocolate chip cookies have to be stored seperately from crisp cookies, becuase moisture will transfer to the crisp cookies and make them taste flat/stale

Cookie dough can stay frozen for up to three months. Tupperware has an air tight and liquid tight seal and would work too. I used to sell it.
