French Macarons?
Have any of your ever tried them?
I have yet to try one and I'm just wondering if they're worth bringing to a holiday party as opposed to cake or cookies.

Re: French Macarons?
They have them at a new bakery just east of 7th ave. and either 36th or 37th Street. It's a little coffee shop & the macaroons are in the window.
There are few bakeries in the city that do those but I can't remember what their names are.

Re: French Macarons?
I bought these in the city tonight...at a chocolate shop by Rockefeller center. They were $2 each...and they were small. I bought a box of 6....I tried 2 of them and not impressed. they were OK but not $2 wrth ok...KWIM?
they did have a bigger size one and I thik they were $5 each.
Personally, I would pick something else....
