Starting the Master Cleanse Detox tomorrow....
I am soo excited, I have been wanting to do this since I heard Beyonce did it to loose weight for her role in " Dreamgirls".
I am doing it with a co- worker so we can give each other will power.
It is supposed to clear your mind, loose weight and get rid of all the toxins in your body that get stored in your intestines. You drink this concoction for 10 days of maple syrup, cayenne pepper, water and fresh lemon.
I'll track my progress on this forum so you girls can see if anyone else is interested, I haven't seen any other topics on this cleanse.
Wish me luck and I'll post tomorrow when I start :)

Good luck!! I'm very curious to find out if it works. My big concern was that I'd lose weight, but wouldn't be able to concentrate at work.

Thanks, I just got home from work and my co worker started this morning and went through the whole day drinking the juice and was not hungry at all and had a lot of energy at work..
Can't wait till tomorrow :)

Yep.
I did this once before because I tend to have gastrointestinal issues and (TMI alert!!) can sometimes get really backed up 
Anyways, not to burst your bubble, but although you do lose weight detoxing with the master cleanse you gain it all back when you're done. It's really not designed for permanent weight loss.

Oh yea, I figured that it's only water weight. I do not really have much weight to loose anyway and if I did in fact gain it all back that would be ok too. :) Just thought it would be nice to try. I am only going to start at 5 days and see what happens. Today is going well

Hey....
i did very well but with all the holiday parties, I only lasted a few days but lost and kept off 4 pounds.
