Can't you just get it done at the Post Office?

Yes, but our cruise is March 1st! I'm so nervous I won't get it in time... I meant to do it a long time ago b/c my old one is in my maiden name.

ETA: I spoke with RCCL and they said I don't need a passport till Summer '08. i checked on the gov website and it's true!

Thanks!

You may want to consider it anyway. Even if you don;t need a passport for the cruise, god forbid something happens, and you wont be able to fly home without one.

I guess I tend to be negative, but we got passports for our cruise. What if you break your leg in mexico and want to get flown home- you cant without a passport.

go to the post office and you should have it back in time. All i had to do was change my name and that took less than 4 weeks.

They have gotten a lot quicker with processing the passports.
