Another baked ziti question...

I am having 12 adults plus 4 little kids for Christmas Eve. How many lbs. of baked ziti do you think I need to make? I'm also serving eggplant rollatini and chicken parmigiana as main dishes along with salad and bread.

TIA!

Re: Another baked ziti question...

if you're making about 6-7 lbs of chicken breast for chicken parm, and a large tray of eggplant, maybe 4 lbs (dry weight) of ziti?

Re: Another baked ziti question...

we are big eaters Chat Icon so I always figure 1 box/lb ziti for 4 adults

but with all that other food I would plan on 1box/lb per 6 people

EDIT: actually you're right 1lb per 5 adults if there is other food

i agree- also as a kid (and now for the most part Chat Icon ) I wouldn't touch anything w/ eggplant so i would just eat the chicken and pasta--- no salad either. so maybe 1 box/5 people
