TTC & UTI's

It seems I have another one (I had one 2 or 3 months ago). Have any of you had UTI's while TTC? Can taking the medication affect your 2ww or CM?

Yep! Too much sex can do that to you.

I drink LOTS of cranberry juice.

I used to get UTI's all the time. Rather than drinking all that cranberry juice, I started taking cranberry pills regularly, and it really helped.

Also make sure you pee after, it will "wash" the harmful bacteria out of your tract. then wipe in a downward motion.

Thanks ladies! I think I'll get the cranberry pills - I knew about peeing right afterwards, see how well that's working?

Can the medication affect the 2WW or CM?

I had a UTI the beginning of November. When I went to my doctor I told him that we were TTC and he gave me an antibiotic that was safe to use during pregnancy. I can't remember the name of it but it was 2 pills a day for 3 days. Hope your feeling better soon.

Cranberry Pills are awesome!!! I get them at GNC and the doctor said they were fine while TTC. I have had cronic problems with my UT since childhood. She said I could stay on those until I conceive then we would revisit. Good Luck and Lots of Baby dust!!!!!
