Can dogs get colds?
Sandy has been sneezing for the past few days and it seems like her nose is running a little.

I think so...because Ashes (the cat) had an upper respitory infection (he was sneezing, runny nose, runny eyes ect.) and he had pink eye at the same time! So if a cat can I assume dogs can too.

yes they can and they get allergies too. Bailey gets sick every once in awhile where her nose is quite runny

Yes they can. Usually the vet will call it a URI(upper respiratory infection).

Our puppy has one and the vet put her on medication - a cough syrup and an antibiotic. She said with small dogs, you have to worry about pneumonia.

Peanut sneezes all the time. My vet said since she is so little she probably just has bad alergies.

Dixie has bad allergies, too. She is about 40 lbs.
