Disney PhotoPass Rave
So Disney used to have the photo guys take your picture and you'd have to rbing your ricket to a designated place to view and purchase overpriced prints.
Now you have a little credit card type of device which they scan and when you get home you can view ALL of the photos and then deicde which prints you want or you can order e CD for $125. We didn't want to get sucked in, but we did and we had fun taking lots of pictures, since we had nothing to lose. It turns out the pictures were GREAT and well worth the $125.
It's a great way to get pics of your whole group at many locations throughout the parks (the photo guys are even more ubiquitous now) and view and edit them and add borders in the comfort of your own home. I posted a few randomly in my LIF album. I have over 100 pics!

we loved this when we went in dec of 06. it was so much easier to be able to look at them at your lesiure and choose the pics you wnated. no pressure whatsoever.

They came out great! We passed up on it when we were there over the summer, but I'll have to re-think it when we go back. Looks like you guys had a great time!

Love this idea! Great pics! We didn't take too many of these photos and really wish we had. Definitely next time we go!

we just got back from our Honeymoon and we ended up buying the CD..it was soooo worth it!!
if you buy the CD online you can edit any picture and add borders, and icons.. etc..
so i had 135 pics to start.. and after editing.. i had over 225 pics!! and it does not reflect the price of the CD!!
so it was great to have pro HM pics!!

Yep, you can crop and add borders. We have a few that would ahve been PERFECT xmas cards had we ordered the darn CD earlier. After awhile it was just fun taking all of the pictures!

it is the best idea ever!! i loved the photopass.. we are so happy we ended up getting the CD .. especially on our HM.
by the way..dont you just love the castle at night.. they made it look amazing!!

I have not heard of that.
Basically the card is free and you can take as many pictures as you want and look at them at home and share them online for 30 days. In that time you can order prints, and the CD of all of the images (including any copies with changes you made my cropping or adding borders ) is $125, but there's no charge for taking the photos. We also got a 40% discount on the prints we ordered from photos taken during MVMCP, so I'm sure they have that discount during other events too

i think its the same price of $125 but they will give you 2 complimentary pictures if you buy it in disney and not on the internet.
the reason we bought it on the internet was because you can go through every picture and edit, add borders, icons..etc...
so we ended up with double the pictures for the same price..becuase you keep the original .

We absolutely loved this on our Disneyland HM. It was well worth the money and you get pics that you don't even think of taking yourself. I would recommend it in a flash.
