2 point breakfasts?

I used to do a 4 or 5 point breakfast, but I find I'm doing better with a 2 point breakfast, and saving the other points for dinner (less late night snacking). Currenty I'm eating Kashi Heart to Heart cereal with a little milk. I tend to get bored with breakfasts and like to switch it up.

What are some other 2 point breakfasts I can try? Thanks!

Re: 2 point breakfasts?

Canteloupe/honeydew melon - this is the best breakfast as it contains a ton of water.

Banana

Active yogurt & Fiber One Cereal mixed in.

Re: 2 point breakfasts?

Special K Protein Plus (3/4 cup) = 1pt
Skim milk (2/3 cup) = 1 pt

Also stop and shop has light bagels that are 1 pt each. I routinely have 2 egg whites and 1 slice of 2% cheese on a toasted bagel and it's 2.5 pts and yummy!!!

be careful with these. i've noticed (as well as my friends and DH) that these bars can cause some stomach issues (gas pains and bloating, etc).

for a 2 pt breakfast, try a WW english muffin with jam or reduced calorie butter or peanut butter. i *think* the special K frozen waffles are 2 pts as well (for 2 waffles).

i usually eat oatmeal with a little bit of fruit.

Re: 2 point breakfasts?

I had a great 2 pt breakfast this morning (and set the blender on fire in the process)

Fruit smoothie (makes 4 servings)

1/2 pks silken tofu
3/4 cup strawberries or other fruit
1/2 banana
1/2 cup OJ (I used crushed pineapples in juice instead)
2tbsp wheate germ (I added this for fiber and vitamins)
blend well

add 1 cup ice, blend, serve immediately (can also be frozen)
you can also add honey or splenda.

I eat these also. I don't have a problem. I read that is recommended to drink a lot of water with it if you are going to eat that much water.

I have had stomach issues when I didn't drink enough water. They also sell them in BULK at Costco!

Re: 2 point breakfasts?

I either have:

1. A light multigrain Thomas' English Muffin or weight watchers whole wheat bread (2 slices) with I can't believe its not butter spray; and a light string cheese (2 points total)

or

2. A packet of oatmeal (2 points) which I make with water.
