Brisket in a crock pot
If you make brisket in a crock pot, do you brown it first or just put it in regular plain like???

How I do miss brisket.
Once in a while, at night, I can hear it calling my name from our neighbor's house. Can you imagine my torment living in a town consisting of 70% jews? Every high holiday the smell of brisket wafts through the air...
