Has anyone taken this pre-employment survey?
It is called the: Predictive Index Survey
Can anyone tell me what quantitative info is supposed to be uncovered here? It seemed so simple to quantify someone's "work" personality and persona...

I can't tell you about that one sepcifically but the big trick with these is there is no trick except make sure you remember what came before. They ask teh same questions a variety of ways. I used to sell a number of personality tests in my former job

That is what it seemed like. I think I only changed my answers slightly as it seemed relevant. I hope I did well. I hate those tests

i took one that asked me who i thought was a better president: Washington or Lincoln. i hate those tests too.

I did a PI survey - the one with lots of adjectives and first they ask how you think others expect you to be and then how you see yourself. lots of synonums (sp?)

Yep that was the one. It seemed like it needed more instruction or something. I looked at it and was like, "That's It?"

Yep that was the one. It seemed like it needed more instruction or something. I looked at it and was like, "That's It?"
yeah, it's an interesting test. i was told it was to get a feel for the type of people i work best with. but who in the world would intentially check off words like self-centered???
