The China Study
Has anyone else read this book? It is based on a study (the China study, duh) that examined the correlations between diet and health. According to the author, what you eat has a staggering effect on not only heart disease, stroke and diabetes, but many forms of cancer (including breast) and even the development of autoimmune diseases. I know one book can't hold all of the answers, but it sites a lot of studies and I found it informative, view changing and incredibly inspiring, because it puts some of the control in my hands and allows me to make choices that may keep me and my family healthy for many years to come. I was so impressed with the book overall and hope that more people check it out and put its information to use.
The China Study

Re: The China Study
It is scary. But I love the idea that so much of our health maintenance is within our reach - that by making informed decisions about what we eat we can actually prevent or reduce our chances of succumbing to so many debilitating and/or life threatening diseases.

Re: The China Study
Im reading it now.
It FLOORS me that people dont know this information and that that dont think about it even.
ITs scary not only about how the research is THERE, but that companies like the Cattle industry, the Milk industry etc make sure this stuff doesnt become mainstream knowledge.
