WHATS NEXT?

Af showed today Chat Icon

this was after a faint BFP on 2 tests! Both of which I am chlakign up to nice early evaps! Chat Icon

Both tests were very faint and followed bu about 3 stark white and not pregnant BFNS Chat Icon

So Now Im devestated, but more about what to do next.

I have to go for a HSG and Im scared.

Then I have to decide if we should stay on the femara, change to Clmoid or force the dr to consider low dose injectables.

OR do I change clinics all together?

The decisions are freaking me out Chat Icon

Damn Donna I'm sorry!! I was hoping and praying it was your time! Chat Icon

Try not to worry about the HSG. The chances of your tubes being blocked are slim, especially with your history. From what I hear the reason I had so much pain was bc my right tube is partially blocked. So don't worry...try not to. I'm sure it won't be bad and your results will be great. (Sue just had it done and it wasnt bad for her at all, maybe she can help?).

I would stick with RSofNY for now, just til you get your HSG done and have your results. Talk to them about low-dose injectables and push the issue a bit with them. See what they say. Like I've said before, it seems like sometimes you have to insist on what you want done before they do it.

I hope you're OK Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: WHATS NEXT?

thanks Kathy! Chat Icon

I Dont know which way is up?

Im just spotting now, but Im sure AF will show, since she was due today.

I got another really faint bfp on the accu clear this am, but it took like 5 minutes to show, so could be an evap.

Maybe this was a chemical PG?

Sorry DonnaChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

On the HSG...it varies by person so don't worry about it too much. The most uncomfortable part for me was when they blew the baloon up in your cervix which only lasted a few seconds. You'll do fine and then you will have some more answers.

You know I am sending lots of hugs!!! Try not to worry about the HSG, its amazing what we can tolerate when we have to.

I would definately recommend changing clinics. They have alreayd told you they wont go in the direction you want to. Also their IVF stats are not very good and tehir customer service is lacking. I made the switch and am kind of sorry I didnt do it sooner.

Re: WHATS NEXT?

Donna,

I'm sorry. I know the notion of switching clinics has been nagging at you for quite some time. There might be a reason for that. As you know I currently go to RsofNY and have only been going for two months (on my second cycle, no "O" yet but just started 100 mg of Clomid). I already have it worked out in my head how many cycles I'm willing to give them before I switch as I'm over 35.

Oh, BTW, I was there on Saturday morning, yesterday, and overheard (she was right next to me) a patient giving one of the nurses at the front desk her info and birthday. She was born in 1955Chat Icon I mean really... I kept thinking "Do they really think they can give this woman an entirely healthy baby from her own eggs? Is this what they told her?" I know it was none of my business but I really felt for her.
