Help! Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, or Key Largo?
DH and I are heading to Ft. Lauderdale for 3 days for our anniversary.
We are flying in to Ft. Lauderdale, but are trying to decide whether we should stay there, in Miami, or in Key Largo.
I'm getting dizzy from looking at Expedia for so long. HELP! Any recommendations???

I say Miami only becasue there are more shops, clubs, and beaches. Key Largo (JMHO) is not worth it. If you're going to do the keys you should just go to Key West..Ft. Lauderdale is ok, but Miami is much more  interactive? I can't think of the right word. Maybe you could do Key West? It's about 3-4hrs from Ft. Lauderdale and it's a great place for 3-4 days. Try the Cypress House! FM if you want any details!

Because it's so much fun with great things to do. We've stayed at the hardrock and the clevelander. Just a note...Miami....

We stayed at the hard rock after a cruise a few years ago and loved it -they have a great pool - there is an entertainment complex next door to the hotel - with some good restaurants (Tatu was great) and night clubs, comedy clubs, bars and some stores.

Are you looking to go relax or clubbing and getting wild? I live in Florida 11 years now and to tell u the truth every city is different. It all depends what your looking to do.

We're not really the "go wild" type. When we go on vacation, we like to see the sights, but keep a leisurely pace. We're basically looking at going on some of the sightseeing water tours, and things like that.
I'm really looking forward to it--I SOOOOO need this vacation right now!

Then if you want leisure, I would avoid Miami. It's much like NYC!
