Bedding question

I've just started to add things to my registry and for all the twin mommies did you pick out two separate bedding sets or pick two of the same kind.

Im trying to decide what would be easier. TIA!!!

Re: Bedding question

2 of the same. My honest opinion, I wouldn't go overboard on bedding. As I look at my boys cribs now, they have a sheet on the mattreess. Long gone is the bumper, dust ruffle (the mattress is completely lowered), never used the comforter other than decoration. The one part of the whole set that I've used from day one are the curtains to match. I've learned that next time it's not worth having a tremendous about of $$ spent on these items.

ITA.

We did not register for the entire set... just a la carte valances, bumpers, sheets.

I knew I'd never use the quilt and we have three windows in the nursery so I needed an odd number of valances.

I agree with not needing all the extra's but i did not get 2 of the same.. just because they were twins i dont think they need everything the same... we coordinate everything its just not identical to each other.Chat Icon

I only registered for 1 set of the bedding and then got an extra bumper & sheet that goes w/ the set for the other crib. The blanket that comes w/ it has never even come out of their closet.

totally agree as well - I think all the fancy bedding stuff is sooooo overrated.
We got two different bedding sets - the colors matched but they were different.

Re: Bedding question

I found this woman that is insaaaaaaaaaaaane. She made my bedding, it is the same sets.
If you are interested in different but coordinating you can go this way too.
She was very cheap and the quality was better then anything in the store.

Re: Bedding question

I registered for 2 of the same, but was looking at doing coordinating but was lucky I found one I really liked.

I ordered the whole set and now that they are in toddler beds they use the comforter in that. While the cribs were up I had them over the sides pinned while they were younger.

Also you can hang them on the wall if you want, that looks cute too.
