WW Points User's - Average Dinner?

I'm doing WW points and I was wondering how many points everyone's average dinners are...I seem to use so many points throughout the day and wind up with 5 or 6 left over for dinner which forces me to go to the gym every day to get 4 points, or use my flex points which I like to try to save up.

I was just curious what you all do.

Thanks!

I have a 2 pt breakfast (kashi heart to heart cereal, or ww english muffin w/ jam)

5-6 pt lunch

8-10 pt dinner

2-3 pt dessert (I always have some sort of dessert)

I'm definitely going wrong with breakfast then...I'm averaging 4 points there on a bowl of cereal w/light soy milk or a protein shake.

I usually eat anywhere from a 2-4pt breakfast..more often 2 than 4

Lunch - usually b/w 5-7

I like to hold onto my points for dinner (I average 12pts for dinner). I usually have enough left for a nice snack in the evening.

I try to save more points for dinner, usually a minimum of 6-8. On days like today I had a bunch of points at lunch, so it is a 4pt Lean Cuisine for dinner, with salad!

I used to do 4-5 for breakfast but now that I do 2, I am doing a lot better.

Re: WW Points User's - Average Dinner?

How about trying:

High protein cereal - 2 pts total:
Special K cereal protein plus (3/4 cup) - 1pt
2/3 cup skim milk - 1 pt

One of my fave breakfasts - 2.5 pts total:
2 egg whites - .5 pt
1 stop and shop light bagel - 1 pt
1 slice 2% cheese (tastes better than ff but same pts) - 1 pt

Oatmeal and fruit - 3 pts total:
Apples and Cinnamon instant oatmeal - 2 pts and a piece of fruit for 1 pt

These are all such good ideas! Thank you everyone!! Chat Icon

This morning I had a bowl of Fiber One with 1/2 cup soy milk for 2.5 points. I will snack on fruit today and have a light lunch and see how that works.

djgirl,
How many points are you allowed in a day, I think that makes a big difference on how to balace.
Here's a tip: 3 Pt breakfast. Light English muffin toasted, 1 slice 2% american cheese & 3 egg whites...yummy.
