Why must I freeze at work everyday??
The office manager, who is the only one who has access to the thermostat is going thru hot flashes so every single day I come to work and freeze! I have a heating pad on my lap, a sweater on, and a space heater at my legs!!
Why must we all suffer??
ok vent over.
Any suggestions?

tell her that you can't work...until your computer defrosts from the ice storm that is passing thorugh the office.
we have the same problem in my office...(but because the HVAC system is all scwery)
actually....I once read something about resonable office comfort...(it mentioned temperature) Im not sure if there is any actual laws in regards to this...but I would do an internet search to see if you can come up with anything...then ask your co workers to back you up and present the document to your manager together..,its not right to sacrafice the majority's comfort for one person.

Good! I tried to make subtle hints to her before.
For instance, one day she asked me to come into her office and I chuckled and said, "I can't, I am frozen to my chair"
All she ever says is
"You are cold? Man its warm in here"

One day me and my co-workers were so cold, the 3 of us decided the next day to wear winter hats, scarves and gloves. We walked around the office like this. We looked ridiculous, but eventually the office manager got the hint and cut the air down. 
At this job, I have a space heater, a blanket and a very thick sweater. It's ridiculous!

Maybe you should put up winter themed/holiday themed decorations (snowmen, snowflakes, etc). Decorate your cubicles.
As a high school teacher I wish I had AC. It can be GROSS this time of the year... 80's or 90's and 30 hormonal bodies in the room all breathing on you. forget about it when they come back from phys ed... yuck

Take a lot of breaks outside to warm up and if anyone complains just say you dont want to get sick from being cold, so you have to go outside alot.

i would ask her to bring in two fans for herself and close the door so she can freeze thats not fair that you all have to freeze because of her. right now i wish they would put the AC on in the college i work in a caferteria and i was soo hot today i wanted the cold air.

The problem is you can't please everyone. For every person that says it is too cold, you have someone complaing it is too hot. I tell my employees to bring a sweater to work!

I really do understand that you cant please everyone. However, then it should be 50-50 for *****'s sake! I should not be the one who has to freeze everyday!
