I have a question...
I got 2 surge days on sat 12-10 and sun 12-11 with an OPK, we bd'd pretty much all last week  took the day off before the surge  and then bd'd both surge days as well, way tmi. anyway I am going for my annual on 12-22, would a blood test be able to tell me if I am PG before a HPT?? when can I test? thanks so much!!!

It all depends when you ovulated and when you may have implanted. If you ovulated, the day after your surge,...that would bring you, to 10 dpo....on 12/22. There is a possibility that implantation didn't occur until then. Average implantation is 6-10dpo. Could even happen later, though.... basically, you could get a false bfn at 10 dpo.
A blood test can pick up hcg, as soon as implantation occurs, so yes, a blood test can detect it, before a hpt.
