You can't even go out for anice dinner anymore!!!
Dh and I went out to Long Island for our anniversary over the weekend. We stayed at an inn near Greenport and visited several of the wineries in the area. Saturday night we went to a very nice little restaurant in Mattituck(?) called The Red Door. We sat down at our table and were looking over the menu when I thought I heard the man right next to me, well, fart. I looked at DH to see if he had seen it and as usual he was oblivious. I thought maybe it was the chair making noise and decided to let it be. About 20 min. later it happened again except there was no doubt as to what had occurred. I looked and he asked me what was wrong. I replied quietly "The man next to me is farting. Did you not hear it?" DH again did not hear it. Not 3 min. later the man again farted, but this time DH looked up in surprise and said "I caught that one." We had no idea what to do or say to this man. Instead we just laughed so hard that I was tearing up. I was so disgusted, but so at a loss. I mean what do you say to someone in that situation? "Excuse me, but your flatulence is interrupting my dining experience."
I guess people just don't know how to act in public anymore.

I was in Greenport this weekend as well. Thankfully, didnt eat with Mr. Farter in a restaurant.

The funniest thing is I went to dinner last night with 10 people and someone at the table next to us did the SAME exact thing - only we had 4 kids with us so everyone looked at our table like it was them!!! Nobody has class anymore!!!
