Mohegan Sun

Where can we stay - I heard there are alot of hotels in the area that are nice...

What else is there to do - Mystic is close right ??

Mystic has a cute downtown and restuaruants. I just ate at Azu and it was really good!

Microtel Inn & Suites is very close to Mohegan Sun--nice rooms & pretty affiordable too!

I am not a big fan of Mystic Seaport---but if you have never been, you might want to check it out..

Providence is about an hours drive away too

we just went to Mystic and stayed two nights at the Steamboat Inn. We didn't go to the Seaport or the aquarium this time. It was our "babymoon" so we were just there to do a lot of relaxing, which we did. We spent the days lounging around and shopping and went out to nice dinners at night. We went to Mohegan Sun one night and ate at Todd English's "Tuscany" which was DELICIOUS! You have to try the flatbread pizza...it's sooo good! MS is about 20 mins from Mystic. I don't know the hotels around there but there are a few that are pretty affordable. DH had to stay in one for a conference a couple of months ago and said it was fine. I'll try to remember to ask him which one.

We stayed at the holiday inn about 15 min away from Mohegan Sun, they had a $20 shuttle that takes you straight there, plus they give you back a $10 food voucher and $10 gambling voucher.
We also went to the aquarium while we were there, it was nice but def nothing special
