MGM Grand... questions
Just wondering if anyone has stayed there? We have some questions...
Is there a mini fridge and microwave in the room? From everything I've read I'm guessing no...
How far a walk is the pool from the hotel? I know the place is huge :)
Has anyone been on the lazy river? Or by the pools in April? Are they crowded?
Any other info or suggestions would be great :) Thanks

Re: MGM Grand... questions
hi! we stayed there 2 years ago for a friends wedding. we really liked it! we stayed in the "west wing" rooms. the rooms were newly redone and really cool! very comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a TV in the mirror! so when it was off, you couldn't see it at all, but when you had it on, you could watch TV while you were drying your hair or whatever. very cool! we were there in january, and it was nice weather- but not quite nice enough to use the pool or sit by it. so i cna't help ya with that! but i would recommend staying there- theres a lot to do right in hotel. have fun!

Re: MGM Grand... questions
I went in March...No fridge or microwave in room (in ours at least--we had a regular room with king bed).
The pool was maybe a 5-8 minute walk from my room...Not bad, but you do have to walk through the casino and restaurant area to get there. The pool area was busy, but you could get a seat. Not all of the pools were open in March (some people were swimming, but it was kind of brisk outside). The lazy river was not crowded.
Hope that helps! It was a great hotel...Centrally located, a variety of restaurants from McDs to Wolfgang Puck's to Emeril's...
