Re: does it hurt anyone when they go to the bathroom?
I just wanted to share with you..
my best friend is 14 weeks-she could NOT go to the bathroom even though she felt like she had to more than anything. After a full day passed of not being able to go normally, she went to the doctor and they put a catheter in. It turns out that at this stage in pregnancy, sometimes the expanding uterus will lie on the bladder causing pressure but blocking the ability to go-she thought maybe it was a UTI but thats what it was. Just wanted to share, it may be something to look into. Hope you feel better!!!

I don't remember it hurting when I went to the bathroom but had a history of montly UTIs prior to getting pregnant. UTIs are very serious when you're pregnant. If you suspect one, please call your doctor immediately.
Feel better!

This happened to me. No catheter though. I had to go sooo bad and nothing. I was about to go to the hospital. It mostly happened at night. TMI, but my eyes would tear and tear from having to go so bad. After I walked around a while my uterus moved a enough to let me get some relief!
