NYC Teachers
How many trips do you go on a year?
I am required to go on one every month and two in June. Does everyone else have to go this much?

wow. we only go if we want to. some teachers in my building do not take a trip all year. i did one so far.

We aren't required to go on trips. We've done two trips and are planning for at least two more.

We are not required. But we try to take one a month- they are our only real incentive to keep the kids on track. And they are usually fun- we went to the movies in January after the ELA and ice skating last month. I think we are going to go bowling this month, after the math test.

It's up to us, but my grade loves trips and we go at least one a month. Most of my students never really go anywhere, even on vacation, so I love to bring them to new places.
