Montauk Yacht Club
Has anyone stayed there and used the spa services? Myself and 3 friends are looking to book a night in April for my 20+20 b/day and I was thinking of Gurney's but they have a 2 night min. all year round.
Montauk Yacht Club looks nice, but I don't know if it's central to Montauk town. We'd like to be able to go into town for a drink too
Any other suggestions for places we could go that are resort-spa type properties and no more than 2 hours from LI.
Thanks

I've stayed there but not since it was bought over. It was nice but a little shabby. The road for it is right before the drive up to the lighthouse. You can't walk to town from there.
I've never used their spa services but I highly recommend driving over to Gurney's spa for the day. It's great!

Dh and I went for a weekend last May. It was being taken over by a new company.I loved it. It was very old school. Food was great. The pool and bar area were great. Not too far from town. I wanted a massage, but they were booked up. Book ahead if you want spa services. Enjoy!

Re: Montauk Yacht Club
Thanks, Ladies. Most of in the group are easily pleased, so it may be a good choice. I think I'll give them a call.
The steam, sauna, pool, etc. at Gurney's is closed until early May, so we wouldn't get the full spa experience there anyway.
