Is it normal...
for puppies to vomit? Denver has never thrown up before and he just woke us up, vomiting. He only vomited once, drank some water, then went to bed. I am going to keep a close eye on him and call the vet tomorrow but is this normal?

I don't know if its normal but Sandy has thrown up on me 2 times since we have had her. She seemed to be fine once she woke up from a nap but just in case just give him some chicken and rice to eat for the next day or so.

what did his vomit look like? was there food or something in it--chunky? or was it whitish-yellowish which would be bile (stomach acid)?
My Rottweiler will eat grass when she isn't feeling well and then that makes her throw up.
has there been a change in his routine that might upset him or a change in his food?

Simba ate his rope and I guess when he couldnt pass it he vomit it up.
Your puppy may have gotten into something. Just keep an eye on him.

Thank you so much. I called the emergency pet clinic and they told me to keep an eye on him. Denver was totally normal all day so I'll just keep an eye to make sure it doesn't happen again.
