DH didnt- apparently being a tenured NYC teacher with a masters and being a published author does not meet Lindenhurst's criteria to be invited to their job fair
eta: I hope it went good for you though

Wow, I'm really sorry. It's OK to be bitter. I've been there.
I'm pretty sure that I got the interview because I student taught there, if that makes you feel any better.

That's so weird...
I mean not to look a gift horse in the mouth or anything, but I am a brand new teacher with not even a full year of experience & no masters. I did student teach there, but still....
I feel like apologizing to you guys!!! I'm feeling so guilty now!!

I have no idea. I student taught there, have 1 year experience and no masters. There were VERY few SS people there, but it looked like A LOT of math, science and guidance. Each dept. head was doing their own interviews. So, your guess is as good as mine.
