Loved this place... Captain Fairfield Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine!
I went here with my hubby last year for a few nights and have been meaning to post a review about it. It is the PERFECT place for a couples getaway. Another great find on trip advisor. This was my first Bed and Breakfast experience and it was fabulous. The room was beautiful and the innkeepers were a young couple that were so nice and helpful. They gave us tips on where to go and where to eat and the breakfasts they made were the best I have ever had. The afternoon cookies they put out were delish! The town of Kennebunkport is adorable as well. Lots of shopping and great restaurants. Thought I would post for anyone looking for a new place to visit that is not too far away.

Took a day trip to Marginal Way in Ogunquit, ME ( about 25 minutes away):

Place a few blocks from Captain Fairfield where they had benches to sit and enjoy the view:
Can't wait to go back!

Maine is my all time favorite place. DH's grandparents lived in Ogunquit and he used to go there every summer. We went back 2 times so far and will be going back this year again.
We are going to make it our early summer trip. I sit and dream about Maine all the time One day we hope to buy a summer house there.
Andrew and I sat on Marginal Way for so long everyday just watching everything. Thanks for writing this. It brightened up my day.

Beautiful pictures. We have a summer place in Maine & now my family lives there. Once the weather starts to get warmer, I can't get it out of my mind. I love our weekend trips up there & also the 1-2 weeks we do in the summer. We have a place on the water, so it is so relaxing & I just love visiting all the towns around us.

i love maine - i will never forget my trip to bar harbor when i was young - it is a beautiful place. nice pics! thanks for posting! btw - i do the same thing w/ christmas ornaments when we travel

Wow that is so awesome!! Someday I would love to have a place in Maine. It is so clean and lovely there. Can't wait to go back!
