Traveling in South America
Has anyone done this?
We are thinking of going for 6 weeks:
Argentina
Brazil
Bolivia
Chile
Peru
We were going to do Europe but have heard so many great things about S. America- plus American $$ will go farther there.

That sounds awesome!
Never been to those places but have been to Ecuador and it was fantastic. Dh has family there, so we visited them but then he took me all over...some mishaps-like getting sick but it is common and didn't ruin the entire 2 weeks.
Next time we go we want to go to the galapagos islands-we didn't have a chance to do it then

We were in Peru last summer and were pretty much the only tourists NOT spending 10 weeks in South America.
Everything is inexpensive, the people are nice, the food is good, the scenery is beautiful.
