any suggestions??

ok.. some of you may have seen my posts last week about not being offered tenure, and not having a position for next school year. i'm a speech therapist, not a classroom teacher.

so anyway.. i am finding it VERY hard to be motivated for the rest of teh school year, knowing i don't have a position here to come back to. i'm just looking to see if anyone else has ever been in this position, and has any ideas on how to get through it, and how to motivate myself to even get up everyday and go to this school that i know doesn't appreciate me. thanks!

you have to remember that we do it for the kids!

just know what an absolute difference you are making in these kids' lives.

The amount of speech and language progress they can make in 3 months is SO significant! I have seen my kids grow so much in such a short period of time. You are providing such a rich speech and language model for these kids that they may not be getting anywhere else.

Do it for the kids!
