I am not the boss, but at 6pm when the manager leaves I become the "supervisor" because whoever is left in the office past 6 feels that when they have irate customers on the phone that they can just send them to me because I have such a way with words when telling people in such a calm matter to shut their mouths and move on.

I see what problems my manager and boss get and I sure dont want their problems. Especially my boss who is the director of operations. She constantly has the powers that be on her back over every little thing. If she doesnt have her I's dotted or her T's crossed they'll rip her apart.

I used to be the boss at my other job and LOATHED it. I hated being the go-to person because not that I knew everything but everyone thought I did. I hated firing people. Now I work under people and don't mind it. as missus-hbradio said, I leave my job at my job.
