Diners in the nassau area
So my favorite diner closed down, The Plaza diner in hicksville/plainview and I am having a really hard time finding one that compares. What are some good diners to try in this area?
I am not a fan of the Embassy in Bethpage.

Celebrity in Syosset. Excellent and on Sat and Sunday mornings they give you basket of mini muffins...
I also love their salads and turkey burgers.
For a basic diner, Star in Bethpage is excellent. It's on South Oyster Bay Rd.

That's the one I go too. Or further east in Woodbury, I think it's called Tick-Tock.

I'm not sure of the name of it, but it is on John Street and Newbridge Road. DH love this place.
