Re: Eyeglasses question

forget the frames... all the $$$ go into those @Q$%%#$ lenses Chat Icon

Designer frames can be anywhere from $200-almost 1k.... with cartier frames (real gold) shooting up even higher than that....

I've found wonderful bargains overseas, I bring the frames back.... just to find out the f-in lenses cost 300. Mind you I am a very simple prescription.... straight near-sightedness.... yet still they're 300. I swear it's a racket.

Re: Eyeglasses question

totally depends on where you get them and what the mark-up is. I would say they start in the $200's.

Re: Eyeglasses question

Try Lindy Eye Care in Lindenhurst. ALL of their frames are 50% off including the designer ones. it is 50% off the sticker price. My sister paid about $300-350 for her coach glasses there last year including the lenses. She has insuraance that helped with the cost though. This year she bought D&G glasses & I think she paid a little more may be $400 including the lenses....

Re: Eyeglasses question

it depends . do you have insurance? that makes a big diffance in the price. if not , i know with my company if you at least have regular health insur. we will give you a discount. it mostly also depends on the lens you need and order. I have seen some people walk out only paying as low as $50.00 or as high as $500.00. Fm me if you need anymore info or have questions. Chat Icon

Re: Eyeglasses question

I will tell you later Chat Icon I am going today.

my eyes are terrible...I can't see clearly past my hand without them. my LENSES are beaucoup dollars..they are special ordered (don't make fun Chat Icon Chat Icon )

my last pair of lenses were Prada..b/c i loved them and I have to wear them all the time...not so much b/c they were Prada.

I am looking to get the nicest pair for the least amount of money right now.

I am going to Switzerland in June, so I may look for another frame over there..

they price can really vary. but the most important thing is to get the frames that fit your face the best..
