how do you get Star?
We're looking at a house tonite and the taxes are about $6500...hopefully not including star...but how do we apply for it?

you need to go to your town hall and fill out an application. its pretty easy and the people at town hall should be able to help you.

You can also just call the town and they will mail you the forms. That's what we did.

Also as a side note - you missed the deadline for this year. You can apply for the next tax year. I believe the deadline every year is March 1st.
