PreNatals
I'm currently taking Women's One A Day, should I be taking a prenatal instead while TTC or are they equivalent? If so, which brand do you use?

I use Citracal....it is a presecription.

Im taking a multi vitamin until I concieve and then switch to a pre-natal.
I am also taking some extra folic acid though..
Ask your doctor what he thinks u should do.

regular MVI dont have/have enough folic acid which is what is most important. I also take Citracal, a RX prenatal MVI.

I was told by my ob/gyn that my one a day WOMEN's was ok (not the regular one a day) because it has more folic acid - for now - then when I get pregnant I would switch to prenatals.
I would check with your dr - as to what they personally recommend - I do know a lot of dr's who approve of the women's one a day. One thing to consider is also if you are on any meds that might suppress vitamin or folic acid absorption.

I am also on pre care conceive. I hope it works! I keep hearing that when u r on prenatal vit u have a better chance of conceiving. We will see.
