Disappointing trip to Punta Cana
My DH and I went to Punta Cana for almost a week 3/29-4/4 and it was such a disappointment. We stayed at an all inclusive resort but everything about the resort was awful, terrible food and service. The hospitality was awful. The rooms were not nice. We tried to make the best of it. The beach in Punta Cana was very nice, but that was about it.
Our travel agent really led us in the wrong direction and their website was very misleading.
Oh well, we won't be returing back to the DR again that is for sure. Very little positive to say unfortunately.

WOW, I am sorry about the bad experience! What resort did you stay at?
We just went to Punta Cana for New Years and stayed at Excellence all inclusive resort and it was amazing. We are already thinking of booking it again for next New Years. We had nothing but good things.

Sorry to hear that you were disappointed. I'm just about to book a trip to Punta Cana at an all inclusive as well. Which place diud you stay at?

We also stayed at Excellence in Jan.
We loved it.

sorry that you had a dissapointing trip...that stinks! Probably has to do with where you stayed. We've been to DR and stayed at secrets excellence and thought it was really nice!

We stayed at excellence in Mexico and loved it. We were going to stay there in the DR but our travel agent recommended where we stayed this time. I think it had a lot to do with the hotel we stayed out because i heard such great things about Punta Cana. before we went.
It was disappointing. FM me I will give you details if you want to make sure you don't book this place.

It all really depends on the resort you stay at - we went to the DR on 3/4-3/8 and absolutely LOVED it, but we stayed at the Club Med. The only drawback was that we were there during the french holiday so literally NO ONE, not even the staff, spoke english, but the resort was gorgeous, the daycare was amazing, the sports/activities were numerous and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend it!

I would be interested in knowing where you stayed. I've stayed at different resorts in PC, DR and although I will say that some are better than others, overall, it was still an amazing time and I would go back in a heartbeat!
I'm sorry your trip didn't turn out so well!
