I think if its clear, it could be sweat or amniotic fluid. If its just on the sides, its sweat. If its white or whitish yellow, its normal pregnancy discharge. Lovely, isn't it?

amniotic fluid will be more watery than mucousy. I've been lucky enough to have "excessive" discharge since week 30 and it's always been clear to a light yellowish color.
If you are truly concerned, tell your Dr and they can do a swab to examine it.
