Cooper River Bridge Run 10K--Charleston, S.C.
I did way better then I expected since I haven't been running but once a week due to injury. It was hot and humid and crowded but finished in 1:05. There were 37,000 people participating! My one complaint was the walkers, the race volunteers did nothing to hold them back from the run start and they were really causing problems with the runners. The walkers really slowed me up on the first and second miles. I saw several runners tripped, blocked, and even hit with baby strollers (which weren't allowed but several made it past all the volunteers yapping on the sidelines drinking their coffee). But overall a great experience. I'm thinking Savannah's bridge run in December (if I live through the marine corp. marathon)!

Great time!! I just did a 10K in Richmond this weekend - my first 10k and I ran it in 1:15, which is an awesome time for me (i wanted to do it in 1:20)- and it was pouring!
ITA about the crowds, this one had 30k people - the walkers were supposed to be in the last wave but some of them went earlier. it was annoying weaving in and out.
