Need info on cruises.....
Hi,
Need some advice, looking into a family cruise with mom, dad, sisters, kids, etc. a group of about 13-14 people. Looking for Christmas week into New Years from Florida 4-5 night cruise.
Would you recommend booking directly thru cruise company or are there any sites out there with good deals??
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I love cruisevaluecenter.com, really easy to research things. Booking through the cruiseline directly is normally more expensive...

I always research different fares on discount websites and find the cruiselines to offer the same rate directly. Just shop around and try to find the best price once you narrow down which cruise you want to go on. Good luck!

DH and I did a new years cruise last year out of Tampa, it was on Royal Caribbean. It was a 5 night, on the Grandeur of the Seas.
We loved it overall, but we hit some rough seas. I don't think rccl is running the same cruise this year, but I did look recently and they had a ton of options. I don't cruise often, so I prefer to book directly with the cruise line.

How many cabins will be needed?
If it is greater then 8 cabins, it is considered a group and will have to be booked directly with the cruise line. Anything groups related need to go to the cruise line.

Don't think we'll need 8 or more, probably 5 cabins.
