Sleeping through the night
My boys are going to be 7 months on Sat and we are still not sleeping through the night. They are going to bed at 6:30 waking up at 3:30 and then sleeping until 7.
My problem is they are sharing a small space right now so if I let one cry it out then I end up with 2 crying babies.
How did you get both of them to sleep through the night without disterbing the other...Gavin just doesnt stop. The other night he cried for 3 hours which in turn woke Ethan up...

Re: Sleeping through the night
My doctor advised me to just keep them in the same bedroom and when one cried let it go. Now my boys rarely wake up when the other crys.
Maybe you are running in there too quickly to get them when they are crying. One of my boys wakes up every night around 3 crying, jumping and we let him go for awhile. I think he has figured it out now that we won't be rushing in there to get him.

Re: Sleeping through the night
They sleep from 6:30 until 3:30? Thats nine hours right there, my twins never slept that long!!!! Have you tried maybe changing bed time and making it a little later?
Mine share a room too, we also just let them get used to hearing each other cry - we left them in there. I swear my dd did not sleep thru until she was like 14 months!! And sleeping thru for her meant 6 hours in a row!!

Re: Sleeping through the night
I tried to change their bedtime many time but the later I put them to bed the harder it is for them to go to sleep...the other night I put them down at 9 because we were at a family party at it was miserable and they woke up the same times....
Most of the time they sleep through each other cries but I guess at that point they slept so long that they arent in a deep sleep.
Thank you ladies for your advice...being a mom of multiples is a hard juggling act...
