I dont know. I know he is AKC and have all the papers just never really looked at them very closely.

well, you can have teh papers, but in order for them to have an akc name you (or the breeder) choose it then register him as that name in the akc. it costs $.

Finally just looked at his AKC papers. The old owner named him Raghavans Simba. I also found out that I can transfer all the information to be under mine and my husbands as the owners. It only costs like $30 something dollars but we'll have the certificate and everything will be under us.
You learn something new everyday

My baby's name is Prince Jingles and I call him Jingles. He is a very cute lhasa apso. The other two are muts, so no akc registering for them.
