What do you guys think of this idea?

looking for b & W photos of NYC/LI for us to put in our house. Not sure if it'll be in our Master Bath or our TV room, or 1 or 2 in random rooms/hallways, but I would love to have a few photos of NYC or LI.

If anyone wants to take them for me I'd be willing to pay you for them

I think it's a great idea and I would love to be the one who takes them for you but I don't have a good manual camera right now and that's how I'd like to do it.

I'm sure you could purchase some great shots too if there are no other amateur photographers on here...but I know there are!

You can get great shots from street vendors - if you're in the city. I got a few and made a really cool collage.

We have some great photos of NYC (my DH took them one day when he was rollerblading) that I can upload tonight to Shutterfly. You can just print what you want and the size.

There are some BEAUTIFUL b/w pics on the central park website. I know they're copyrighted, but if you use them in your home...

I went to www.art.com and typed in "nyc" - click this link, they have a ton of them. You could buy the prints from them and get frames somewhere else cheaper.

I have some pretty good shots of the Empire State bldg....I'll upload them to Shutterfly tonight - if you're interested.

They're in color but I can change them to b&w...

I also have some great shots of the Twin Towers - again in color but can easily be converted to B&W. They are on imagestation and I can post them here..........just not sure how that would go over. Thoughts?

Sounds good! We have prints in our LR of NYC (and I have some in storage that I've taken & matted/framed).

no, but one of his friends is a die hard and lives in NC and I'm sure he'd love that as a gift! My sister is also a Met fan!
