This is a long shot.......
as I know most of you live on Long Island, but I am looking to hire a new Service Coordinator for my program to work in both Brooklyn and Staten Island.
I prefer to hire someone with a Master's degree in Social Work or a similar field, with a couple years of case management experience with people with disabilities.
I would consider a Bachelor's degree though depending on working experience.
A major "perk" is that I allow my staff to work from home pending their paperwork is submitted on time, and they are meeting their clients needs.
(ie. I am not getting called constantly with complaints from clients/the state who oversees our program).
FM if you are interested in knowing more. Our main office is in Lynbrook right next to the train.
All travel to see clients would be reimbursed. Minimum one face to face visit a month. Looking to max out caseloads at no more than 14 clients.
