i suffer from them and fissures.  anyhow, usually they go away on their own so I just suffer through. They come an go but if one is really bad i use whitch hazel pads instead of tp and take a really hot sitz bath. That usually helps. prep h never helped me. Also if im super desparate I will take a stool softener that helps alot.

I got them after giving birth to DS--gone now luckily.
I used witch hazel pads and was told to squirt the area off with warm water periodically. I also took colace to help with BMs.
Good luck--they were painful.
