They just did another round of layoffs at the company
They let go the big manger of my department, the VP of HR and another higher paid person in HR. So now our HR department has just 1 person and our department has just 3 supervisors and no manager.
They are going to make an more formal announcement later today but one of the people in my department went over to our wall of fame (where all employees photos are) and saw whose photo was missing.
It's such a rollar coaster here.

I know. Oh yea. I thought they should have at least waited until the formal announcement was made. They dont waste any time here. As your getting told you're being let go, IT is in the back disabling all your computer log in's.

so sorry your company is going through this!! my company has laid off 3,000 since January, and we've heard there's supposed to be another wave this month!! these are such scary times we're living in!! I hope things get better at your job!

we had layoffs recently and how we found out who was impacted was basically who had a box delivered to their office. it was awful! hope your safe!

oooh that is aweful. So far I'm safe. We have a new manager now. The guy that was in compliance they are basically combining his compliance job and the manager job. I think he's a great person but just not ready to be a manager yet. I think he still has a bit more growing and learning to do. But this may be a position that he will truely shine in and I do wish him well.
Things are now starting to get settled.
