Who's gone to McDonald's for the sweet tea?
I've had it three times in the last 5 days  It's nothing like authentic southern sweet tea, but it's not bad for NY, much less from a chain restaurant and even more so, for only $1!

I didn't even know about it until I pulled up for my salad and noticed the sign. With great risk came great reward.
I think it's pretty great!!
Not exactly like the "real" thing but pretty close. It's actually better than Floridas sweet tea IMO. I'm used to SC sweet tea and this is really close.

I tried it and thought it was like drinking sugar! I love Sweet Tea in SC, but this did not do it for me. I was disappinted too b/c its 32 oz for 1.00!!!
Ooooh..and McD's is right across the street from my office!

I agree, it is pretty darn sweet, but it totally conjures up memories of vacations in warm southern locations, which I'm loving. I'm totally an unsweetened iced tea girl too, but this just reminds me of good times (again, it's not even close to the authentic southern version, but I'll take it!)

It's easy to make Southern sweet ice tea.
You just need boiling water. TONS of tea bags and TONS of sugar.
