The baby is very healthy but I had a very very nasty technician. She didn't even give me pictures
I asked her if she could tell the sex and she said that would only be a bonus and is last on her list. She questioned whether or not I was concerned about the health of the baby or only the sex
I was so mad!! I started crying and then she looked at DH and said, "Why is she crying?" so nasty
She was almost positive Boy but I really don't believe anything she said. My dr will check for me in 2 weeks to make sure I had the camera all set to tape the visit (dwork I know) but at some points I didn't even want to look at the screen!

I cannot believe the rudeness of that technican. I feel bad you had to go through that. Our tech was nice and when our daughters legs were closed at our Level II she asked us to come back in 2 weeks so she can get the correct measurements and tell us the sex
I would have complained to someone about her behavior. We all have bad days but when you are dealing with a pregnant lady or any patient for that matter who is in a delicate state, you need to be more understanding. I hope you have a better experience next time

Thank you I am going to call Monday and complain to Mercy and to our OB. It was my birthday too and she made me so depressed.
I know I should just be happy the baby is healthy but she was way too nasty not to complain to someone.

Wow! I would call Mercy and complain about her, that wasnt right that she spoke to you like that. Getting a sonogram of your little baby is so post to be an exciting time, that was just wrong what she did!

Thats terrible, Im sorry you had such a bad time. Sometimes i think these people are in the wrong profession. If you cant be nice to people maybe you shouldnt be working with the public!!!!! Especially pregnant women who are very emotional and have enough to deal with.

i hate to hear stuff like this, it reminds me of the horrible care i had with my m/c...the dr's and staff were so unprofessional i couldn't believe they actually were licenced. i at one point had to say to them what they were (actually were not) doing could be classified as negligent - that sure lit a fire under their arses!

I am sorry you were treated so badly by that stupid technician. Sounds like she had something up her ***. I hope she realizes that she was rude and feels bad. I would complain to your dr also. Maybe they will give you another sono with pictures.
