Crochet Hellp
I am making baby blanket without a pattern. Just a simple single stich blanket that I will put fringe on after I am done. Here is my problem, I almost done with the skein of wool and I only have half of the blanket done. How do I continue with a new skein of wool. TIA

Re: Crochet Hellp
I usually just tie them together and I try to crochet the loose ends in to the stiches. If I can't do that I use a plastic needle and kinda sew the ends into the blanket. You never see them! If you're not sure, just tie it and leave the ends hanging and I'll show you at the next g2g

Re: Crochet Hellp
I do that also. I tie the ends together and sew the ends in to the blanket stitches. I have a real hard time with doing rounds and granny squares. Where can I find some good instructions?

I had found a lot of help at www.crochetcabana.com when I just started crocheting.
To answer the OP question....I usually leave a 6" tail on the original yarn and then join the new yarn with whatever stitch the blanket is being worked in (sc or dc) and then weave in both tails as you go. I usually don't like tying the ends together since sometimes you end up with a hard little ball in the blanket from the knot.
