Key West Hotels?
My BIL and good friend are having a destination wedding in Key West. DH and I are both in the bridal party so we will be bring my mom to babysit our baby who will be 6 months by the wedding. I need a hotel that either has ajoining rooms or 2 bedrooms in 1 suite, so my mom has her own space but can still help us. Any ideas? I am searching on expedia.com and hotels.com and am having trouble.

Re: Key West Hotels?
I was just there for my honeymoon and I went there when I was 19 or 20 with my friend.
I stayed at a Bed & Breakfast the first time I went. It was cute and inexpensive, but they don't have connecting rooms.
When I went for my honeymoon we stayed at the Hyatt. I don't recommend staying there, for many reasons.
The next time we go I really want to stay in the Crowne Plaza La Concha.
This is the site I use everytime I'm going to go down thereKey West

Re: Key West Hotels?
If you can..... do a B&B. The Cypres House is AMAZING! Look at The Pier House, La Concha, and Southermost Hotel. FM if you want. I used to live in Key West, and have a great time!

Re: Key West Hotels?
casa marina
Newly renovated, excellent service (ice pops at the pool when it was very hot, etc), the best breakfast buffet, a great spa, at the end of duval street (so you can walk, but don't hear all the noise) and they have suites (not sure about the prices of the suites though) We paid $160 for an ocean view 2 years ago (right before room renovations), but I get emails from them all the time saying rates starting at about $190 (I'm sure that's for no ocean view)

Re: Key West Hotels?
I totally recommend a guesthouse in Old Town...there are many with small apartments and/or rooms with connecting or joint baths. The service is much more personalized and the staff is great. Plus, you have the added advantage of being right in the heart of things so you can walk to town.
My personal faves are The Frances Street Bottle Inn The Eden House The Curry Mansion Inn Marquesa

Re: Key West Hotels?
Where do I find info on the B&Bs online?
The bride & groom reserved rooms at the Southernmost Hotel (but one of thenights is already sold out) and the Sheraton (but it is far from the action).

Re: Key West Hotels?
If Im not mistaken this place is really far from Duval Street where ALL the action is. You need to stay closer to Duval to be in walking distance, if you dont plan on having a car. All of the BIG name hotels besides the Hyatt arent close to all the action. your best bet is to get a map and see where everything is located. If its near the airport its not close to Duval Street.

It's just on the other end of Duval, maybe a 10 minute walk to Mallory Sq. I liked it since it was quiet (with the exception of some roosters), but still close to walk. We walked multiple times a day with a 10 month old. It was really nice to look in the art gallaries on that end.
