I did absolutely no work the whole vacation.
I have papers to grade & lessons to plan & honestly I'm completely unmotivated

I did quite a bit. I built a webpage for my class to learn about S.E. Hinton and The Outsiders.
I wrote lesson plans for the novel.
and tomorrow I will grade on the train ride to NYC, I have PD there, and I will have completed almost all of the work I wanted to!
I hated doing it at the time, but I feel good now.

I did no work until this morning.
Today I finished my last 6 IEPs before my annual reviews coming up and I planned for the week.
I should do some grading...maybe later.

I did too much! I'm pathetic! It was actually fun work though....I recreated the visuals that come with these lesson books - better to make them myself them spend my budget money on them. I basically recreated the designs in Word and I'll print them on the poster maker. Three grades worth! But it was creative so I enjoyed it.
I also decided which kids are playing what instruments/who's a narrator/who's in my smaller singing groups for the 4th/5th grade spring concert. And! I planned my 3rd grade concert which I'm very excited for.
This is the first time since I started teaching that I actually did the work I brought home to do!! I always feel guilty when I bring work home and it just sits there.
